Abstract

ABSTRACT

An Analytical Study in the Letters of Light by Bediuzzaman Said Nursi This research deals with the manifestations of the Names of God in man, an analytical study in the Risa’il al-Nur by Bediuzzaman Said al-Nursi. In that, I followed the inductive method by tracing one hundred and thirty letters written by Bediuzzaman Said al Nursi in which he explained his method in understanding these names, their manifestations and ways of tasting them. The research reached important findings, including that the purpose of man’s existence is to know God Almighty and to worship Him and to know the manifestations of His Most Beautiful Names in the universe and the soul, and through that man truly knows his Lord. Furthermore, the research showed the benefits of knowing the manifestations of the Names, as they are many, and the most important of them is the reliance on the absolute power and knowledge of God and the derivation of His absolute power and mercy towards everything in the universe. The research also concluded that Badi’uzzaman Said al-Nursi is the most important scholar in this century, showing the beauty of the manifestations of the Most Beautiful Names in a unique and wonderful way.
