Abstract

ABSTRACT

This article describes natural behaviours of Silvered leaf monkeys (Trachypithecus cristatus).  Silvered  leaf  monke ys  pract ice  polygamy  with  unimale  social organization. A group of Silvered leaf monkeys leads by an adult male with several adult females and their offspring. Three kind of Silvered leaf monkeys behaviors  observed  in  the  previous  studies  were  discussed  at  the  end  part of the article: the role of male as leader, allomothering in infant care and reconciliation or conflict management among female members. Values can be observed in the leaf monkey family institution which shows the greatness of God created creatures in all t ypes and behaviors.
