Abstract
Penukaran genus dan perihalan semula Terpnosia promiscua yang endemik di Sumatra telah membawa kepada kemunculan spesies baru yang perlu diperkenalkan kepada sains iaitu Terpnosia pelabuhanratuensis sp nov. dari Pulau Jawa. Kedua-dua spesies berbeza dan berada di bawah kumpulan spesies yang sama iaitu kumpulan T. promiscua yang telah diperihalkan semula.
