Peranan Infografik dalam Meningkatkan Kesedaran Kesihatan Belia daripada Perspektif Pereka Grafik
Abstract
Visual adalah medium komunikasi yang berkesan untuk menyampaikan sesuatu mesej kepada khalayak. Pemilihan jenis visual yang hendak digunakan dalam penyampaian sesuatu mesej perlu dilakukan dengan teliti supaya mesej dapat disampaikan secara berkesan. Menerusi medium Instagram, Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM) menggunakan pelbagai visual untuk meningkatkan kesedaran kesihatan dan amalan gaya hidup sihat dalam kalangan masyarakat. Terdapat tiga jenis visual yang sering dipaparkan iaitu gambar foto, infografik dan ilustrasi. Bagaimana ketiga-tiga visual ini memberi kesan dan visual manakah yang paling berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan kesedaran kesihatan? Sehubungan itu, kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengenalpasti jenis visual yang paling berkesan untuk meningkatkan kesedaran kesihatan. Bagi menjawab persoalan ini, kajian ini menggunakan kaedah perbincangan kumpulan fokus (FGD) bersama lima informan dari Unit Komunikasi Korporat, KKM. Informan yang dipilih ini merupakan individu yang terlibat secara langsung dalam penghasilan visual dan bertanggungjawab menjaga laman sosial KKM. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan keseluruhan informan bersetuju bahawa jenis visual infografik paling kerap digunakan dalam akaun rasmi Instagram mereka kerana infografik bukan sahaja dapat menarik perhatian khalayak, malah ia dapat mengukuhkan lagi mesej yang hendak disampaikan.
