Kesediaan Remaja Hamil Luar Nikah terhadap Program Kerohanian di Pusat Perlindungan Wanita
Abstract
Penubuhan institusi perlindungan wanita di Malaysia adalah sebagai tanda sokongan terhadap usaha pemulihan yang dijalankan oleh pihak bertanggungjawab bagi membantu golongan remaja bermasalah. Secara umumnya, setiap institusi perlindungan beroperasi menggunakan modul tersendiri yang telah dibangunkan secara khusus oleh pihak-pihak yang berkepakaran, berpengalaman dan berautoriti. Matlamat utama pembinaan modul tersebut adalah bertujuan membangun dan memulihkan akhlak remaja bermasalah yang mendapatkan perlindungan di institusi tersebut. Ringkasnya, kandungan modul yang dihasilkan bersifat menyeluruh dan seimbang merangkumi aspek pembangunan jasmani, emosi, rohani dan intelek. Berdasarkan kajian lepas, penekanan terhadap aspek kerohanian dikenal pasti berupaya membantu remaja bermasalah dalam dalam proses pemulihan. Namun begitu, sejauh manakah mereka bersedia terhadap pengisian kerohanian yang dijalankan dalam proses pemulihan jati diri setelah meninggalkan pusat perlindungan kelak? Justeru, kajian ini dijalankan bagi mengenal pasti kesediaan remaja hamil luar nikah terhadap pengisian kerohanian di pusat perlindungan wanita terpilih. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan kaedah kajian kes. Dua teknik utama dalam proses pengumpulan data digunakan iaitu pemerhatian dan temu bual terhadap remaja hamil luar nikah di dua buah pusat perlindungan wanita terpilih iaitu Baitul Ehsan dan Asrama Bahagia. Seterusnya, dapatan kajian dianalisis secara tematik mengikut soalan yang telah disediakan terhadap sebarang isu yang timbul. Kajian mendapati remaja yang telah ditempatkan di pusat ini menunjukkan reaksi positif dan menerima setiap pengisian yang dijalankan dengan berlapang dada. Selain itu, majoriti daripada mereka juga didapati bersetuju dengan isi kandungan modul kerohanian yang disampaikan seterusnya bersedia untuk berubah ke arah yang lebih baik daripada sebelumnya. Kesediaan remaja ini penting sebagai kayu ukur dalam membantu penambahbaikan modul yang lebih berkualiti pada masa hadapan.
The Readiness of Adolescent Pregnant Out of Wedlock in the Spiritual Program at the Women’s Shelter
The establishment of women’s protection institutions throughout Malaysia is seen as a sign of support for the ongoing rehabilitation efforts of responsible parties to assist problematic adolescent. Generally, each of these shelters operates on a separate module that has been developed specifically by the expertise, experienced and authoritative parties. The main goal of develop the module is to rebuild and restore moral problems of adolescents who are protected by the shelters. In summary, the content of the modules is comprehensive and balanced encompassing aspects of physical development, emotion, spiritual and intellect. Based on previous research, emphasis on the spiritual aspect was identified to assist the problematic adolescent in the recovery process. However, to what extent does they prepared for the spiritualization of the self-recovery process after leaving the shelter? There for, this research was conducted to identify the willingness of adolescent pregnant out of wedlock towards filled with spiritual life in the women’s shelter. This research uses a qualitative approach with case study method. Two main techniques in the data collection process are the observation and interviews juvenile adolescents in two selected women’s shelters namely Baitul Ehsan and Asrama Bahagia. The findings were analyzed thematic according to the questions prepared for any issues arising. Studies have found that teenagers who have been stationed in this shelter have shown positive reactions, received a changes and forgiveness. Most of them also agree with the content of the spirituality modules delivered and they willing to change for the better than before. This teen’s willingness is important as a measure and indicator in helping to improve the quality of the modules in the future.
