Message to Contributors of IJWAS

Abstract

Dear Readers and Contributors of International Journal of West Asian Studies/Jurnal Antarabangsa Kajian Asia Barat/ ٓاسيا غرب لدراسات العالمية المجلة (IJWAS).

I wish to announce that with effect from Vol 6 No 1, IJWAS will be published under the West Asian Research Group (AKRAB), in Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.

Beginning from Vol. 5 No 2, 2013 the journal will only be published online. The print version will no longer be published.

From next issue i.e. Vol 6 No. 1, 2014, IJWAS will operate under the Open Journal System (OJS) under the UKM Press.

Following this arrangement, contributors and readers can access IJWAS through the OJS at http://ejournals.ukm.my. The IJWAS site at OJS is now under construction under the following URL http://ejournals.ukm.my/ijwas.

I will communicate further development through the newly constructed site.

I wish to thank all contributors and readers of IJWAS for their past support and hope they will continue to submit their contributions to the journal. 

Please be assured that the editorial board will continue to adhere to the high standard we set at the beginning of the journal’s publication five years ago and the commitment we made in the ethics statement of the journal.
