Abstract: A healthy lifestyle contributes to the teenager’s health and quality of life. Adolescence is the peak phase of human physical strength. This situation causes some teenagers to be insensitive to their own health, especially in terms of a healthy lifestyle. Accordingly, a study was conducted using quantitative research approach to identify the factors that contribute to healthy lifestyle practices among Generation Z teenagers in Malaysia. The respondents consisted of 960 teenagers aged between 13-21 years. Multiple correlation and regression analysis was used to identify the relationship between healthy lifestyle and demographic factors, health literacy and frequency of media usage. The study found that there is a significant relationship between the healthy lifestyle of Generation Z teenagers with the age of the father, the level of parental education, family income, the level of health literacy, the frequency of reading and the internet usage. In the meantime, there are two main factors that contribute positively to the healthy lifestyle of the teenagers, namely health literacy and father's level of education. Accordingly, the health literacy campaign and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle through various programs and media should be intensified to cultivate a healthy lifestyle among teenagers. This study gives implications about healthy lifestyle practices among teenagers for the formation of community health programs.
