Pengajaran & Pembelajaran (P&P): E-Notes untuk Informasi Permodelan Bangunan (BIM)

Abstract


Pelaksanaan Informasi Permodelan Bangunan (BIM) dalam pendidikan tinggi dalam subjek seni bina dan kejuruteraan adalah terhad dan tidak memenuhi kriteria untuk bersaing dalam sektor industri. Kebanyakan pendidikan BIM dimulakan dan ditawarkan melalui latihan perisian dalam kursus yang terpencil kerana kekurangan pakar yang mahir dalam bidang ini. Tujuan utama kajian ini adalah untuk menerangkan kaedah BIM yang di aplikasi di dalam pembinaan e-Note untuk membantu pihak-pihak yang terlibat di dalam sesi proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran (P&P). Ia dihasilkan menggunakan beberapa jenis perisian seperti AutoDesk Revit, Tekla BIMsight dan juga Microsoft Power Point. Kaedah yang digunakan adalah membangunkan aplikasi e-Note berkenaan dalam bentuk perisian multimedia bagi menyelesaikan masalah di atas. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan bahawa e-Note telah menunjukkan lebih interaktif, memudahkan permahaman dan dapat mengurangkan penggunaan kertas. Ini dibuktikan dengan soal selidik yang dijalankan di kalangan pelajar di Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia dimana pencapaian tahap persetujuan adalah amat tinggi apabila menggunakan e-Note. Kesimpulannya, BIM telah menggalakkan dan membolehkan penggunaan simulasi projek realistik dan sifat BIM sebagai cara kerja yang kolaboratif juga telah mendorong pendidik untuk percubaan model penyebaran pelbagai disiplin.
