Abstract


One of the elements of human rights is the freedom of the individual to embrace religion of his choice and to practice his religious beliefs without coercion and harassment by any party. Thailand is known as a democracy in many aspects of life including the right to freedom of religion. The objective of this study is to focus on religious freedom in the context of the constitution of Thailand and to study the principles of freedom of religion in Thai law. The methodology of this study is based on library research by filtering information from secondary sources such as books, magazines, theses, websites and others. The results show that the level of understanding of religious freedom, the openness of both societies towards other religions and the factors influencing them are good.
