Abstract

Abstract

The Industrial Revolution 4.0 has changed the landscape of the field of education, especially in educational innovation. As a result, various technologies have been integrated into various areas of education, one of which is Augmented Reality (AR) technology. In the offering of the Construction Technology program at the Vocational College, there is one course offered which is the Building Construction I and II course. This course requires students to understand and master knowledge related to construction processes at construction sites. Therefore, an AR technology-based learning module has been developed in helping students to visualize the construction processes at the construction site. The validity and reliability of the module based on the views of experts and students in Vocational Colleges were conducted to evaluate the quality of module development and multimedia elements that have been applied in this module. This quantitative study involved respondents consisting of Vocational College students and experts in the field of Construction Technology and multimedia. Two instruments were used in data collection, namely questionnaires and checklists. The findings of this study indicate that the validity and reliability of interactive modules and validation of multimedia elements based on expert views are at a high level. In conclusion, the interactive module based on Augmented Reality Technology for this Building Construction II course is suitable, and the content of the module developed meets the needs of students and lecturers. The development of this module is expected to improve students' visualization skills and enable them to have good graphic communication skills as well as problem-solving skills.
