PENDIDIKAN TEKNOLOGI MULTIDISIPLIN: MENGENALI SEL FUEL DENGAN PENDEKATAN PEMBELAJARAN BERASASKAN PERMAINAN

Abstract


Penguasaan pemahaman dan pengetahuan dalam bidang pendidikan teknologi multidisiplin kini telah menjadi tumpuan utama terutamanya bagi pelajar-pelajar di Malaysia. Pembelajaran berasaskan permainan dijangka berpotensi tinggi untuk memudahkan penerimaan pendidikan teknologi multidisiplin di sekolah-sekolah. Kajian ini membincangkan keperluan mendesak untuk pencapaian pelajar dalam mata pelajaran multidisiplin dengan memberi fokus kepada sel fuel, iaitu sebuah teknologi bersih berbentuk multidisiplin yang menjanjikan pelepasan sifar gas rumah hijau yang menjadi sasaran Malaysia. Memahami topik sel fuel di peringkat sekolah dipercayai dapat meningkatkan penerimaan orang ramai dalam mewujudkan ekonomi masa depan, modal insan yang diperlukan dalam sektor teknologi multidisiplin, dan kesedaran masyarakat terhadap alam sekitar. Walaubagaimanapun, modul pembelajaran sel fuel masih belum dibangunkan dengan sistematik dan tersusun di Malaysia. Oleh itu, satu tinjauan ke atas responden yang terdiri daripada 120 pelajar berusia 14 tahun dari tiga buah sekolah menengah terpilih di Selangor telah dijalankan. Keputusan tinjauan menunjukkan bahawa responden kurang pengetahuan asas tetapi mempunyai penerimaan yang baik dan minat tinggi untuk menggunakan aplikasi permainan mudah alih sebagai alat dalam pendekatan pembelajaran berasaskan permainan untuk memahami tentang sel fuel dan teknologi karbon rendah.
